Dr. Judy Cameron, member of the National Scientific Council on the Developing Child at the Harvard Center on the Developing Child, explains how and why early experiences play a key role in building brain architecture and shaping future health. Her presentation shows us how development proceeds as various systems in the brain mature and how early experiences influence which neural circuits become well established in children’s brains. This presentation was delivered as part of the Recovery from Addiction (RFA) symposium, held in October 2012.
