EXPERT OVERSIGHT
The Alberta Family Wellness Initiative (AFWI) determines priorities and carries out work under the ongoing guidance of cross-disciplinary advisors. As members of the AFWI’s Advisory Council or Curriculum Committee (or both), these experts bring a wider, external perspective to the development of the AFWI’s strategies, learning resources and partnerships.
ADVISORY COUNCIL

Advises on the strategic direction of the AFWI and our projects.

Informs the AFWI on current and emerging issues, standards and practices in early childhood development, addiction and mental health.

Directs the AFWI to additional areas of work that could enhance our objectives.

Identifies synergies with organizations in Canada and internationally.
